Now because of all of the agricultural advancements we have a civilization known as Mesopotamia, with an elite Gov’t System. In America Gov’t may be Upper Class and rich but in Mesopotamia only kings were in the upper class. With their jewels and land, who wouldn’t want to be a king? In the middle class of the Gov’t we had the Priest and Scribes. Priest like these days were in charge of telling the people what the Gods had told them. Scribes writ down anything that was worth writing down. Such as records, census documents and livestock report. Of course there were no Gov’t officials in the Lower Class. All the people listed made Mesopotamia strong.
a great king has a job to do

As I stated in the last paragraph the king did have plenty of jewels and land. But it was not all money and jewels. Like President Obama the King had more duties than anyone else in the kingdom. The King had to run the Army. If the King did a horrible job he would lose the land and the people would not be very pleased. The great King Gilgamesh did a great job with doing this duty and with this the Kingdom grew and the people were pleased. The King also had to control irrigation. If he didn't all crops would be damaged. Again the people would not be pleased. The King also had to worship the Gods in the Ziggurats. He also had to give them gifts. If he didn't do this duty the Gods will be displeased. The King did not do this alone he had a good amount of those who helped him. And with this Mesopotamia grew.
